विक्टरी एंड Defeat

in life so far i have met,
both victory & defeat,
one cannot obtain one & avoid the other,
as one follows the others feet.

i do not fear defeat,
for towards the other it has led,
defeat is in my past,
and the past i do not dread.

victory without work,
that i do not expect,
victory is in my future,
the future how can i reject?

one might think that both are different,
those thoughts i believe are wrong,
for one is dependent on the other,
as like good wordings make a song.

i do not await victory,
for it shall come when it is time,
it shall come to me when i deserve it,
till then i shall be fine.

both victory and defeat,
one shall encounter in a lifetime,
if one denies meeting defeat,
it is evident that fear is there in mind.

fearing defeat is cowardice,
awaiting victory without work is foolish,
both show your mindset.
victory & defeat are keys,
keys to your mind,
keys to your deepest emotions.
the keys are always within you,
when you choose to take them,
is upto you & you alone.
